Who can help? I can help!

Posted by Stacia Stall on May 14, 2013 @ 10:47 AM

This month our preschoolers are learning about helping. As a way to encourage kids and their parents to help, we've invited families to fill a bag of groceries for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.

It was great to see some of our kids bringing in groceries this past week. Take a peak below...

Parents, please help your kids learn to love helping! Bring your bag in this month.

Check out our new Kids Camp Page. Summer is just around the corner, which means that our current 3rd, 4th and 5th graders can start signing up for Kid's Summer Camp. We always have a blast and this year will be no exception. We are going to be "Turning Up" God's story in our lives at our new camp location Haluwasa in Hammonton, NJ.

The games will be crazier, the fun more intense, and we will be rockin' out to live worship each night too! Don't miss your chance, pay your deposit and hold your spot for Kid's Camp 2013 today!

Shore is All about MORE

Posted by Stacia Stall on March 16, 2013 @ 11:05 PM

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you know our motto this year for Shore Fellowship is MORE. It also happens to be our sermon series leading up to Easter for the month of March.  A couple of weeks ago Pastor Tim said that when God speaks to His people He's often asking for more, or showing people how to have more , or live for more. This series has many applicable ways because as Christians we should always be striving to do better for the Lord.

One really obvious way if you have kids is to do more for God, by doing more for your family. Here at Shorekids we are always trying to cue you to be able to easily lead your kids into more...

-One of those ways is through our "Small Talk" or "Parent Cue" cards each week. These tell you what your kids learned about at church, it has meal time conversation starters and information to help you reread the Bible story with your kids.

- We also have our Godtime cards for elementary students. This is a mini devotional to help them do more throughout the week. Sometimes it can be hard to do more on your own, but the Godtime card makes it easy to spend a few minutes each day focusing on God. Most kids will need help and encouragment to keep up with this.
(Maybe those previous two items are enough more, for you for right now)

-If not, we also have a way for kids to commit God's word to memory through our memory verse cards. This is another great way for kids to learn more. We provide 4 short verses that relate to our month's life app. If your kids are in kindergarten or 1st grade, they only have to do the bold portion! God's word tells us to hide His word in our hearts, to help us not to sin. Sin is something all parents could use a little LESS of... :)

-You can also subscribe to our ShoreKids@Home text feed where we will send you weekly reminders to connect with your kids spiritually and help you do more. Text 40404, then type Follow Shorekidsathome (no spaces as shown). You can turn off any spam by following the directions, so you only get our texts!
