Hey everyone, it really stinks that the weather has been so rainy and cold. I was with George and Ricky on Thursday night trying to open for the Pad and nobody showed up. But I don't blame them, it was 17 degrees when we got there, then 10 when we left. We were there from about 6 - 9. So we've been thinking about keeping the park closed until the end of March, then doing a huge opeing Jam. Quiksilver wants to get with us about an Easter break event.
Another big problem we're having is that, when it rains, even if a little bit, it's too cold for it to dry up, it takes about a week to dry up and we can't open when it's wet in there.
Sorry about this everyone, I thought we'd be open 7 days a week, year round. I didn't realize the impact the weather would have.
What are your thoughts on this? And what kind of events would you like to see this year? Would you guys like it if we'd put some snowboard trips together?

FIRST OF ALL THIS SATURDAY THE THROW DOWN IS ON, DON’T FORGET!
What's up everyone,
Last week end we went white water rafting in the Pocono's for my brother’s Bachelor party (Stephen Richards)
And while we where hanging out at this cabin we found a scooter on the porch. So it started. First I jumped on it, then Brian, then pulled up a bolder on the porch then Brian started stalling on the fireplace. Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. Check out the videos.

Hi everyone we went over budget in building PATMOS so we're trying to raise some money to pay the rest of it off and start working on doing extras around the park, like extend the street course, put some granite benches in, and get a small cafe in front of the park, where kids can hang out, play PS, and watch videos. So Tell your mom to go to this candle party to raise money to do this.
Check out the progress, and be a part of this once in a lifetime opportunity!!! posted 6-8

Thanks friends,
for helping us push so hard for this park to provide a safe place for kids to express themselves by doing what they love.
That is why we are building this park, for you, your kids, the neighbor’s kids and the ones with the label of “bad or misunderstood.” The reason is because I was the labeled kid who almost believed that label, but thank God that He didn’t let me believe it. He reached out to me and now the PATMOS team and I are seeking the same for these kids, “diamonds in the rough.”
Now that the grand opening date is set, let’s celebrate the 3+ years of hard work. And what better way than with BMI awarded SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER. (Check our site for their sounds)
(This is a clean band / all welcomed small or old, please come support!)

Personal Note from Guy:
Yo, you guys tore me up when I went on the Hamburger Helper site. You wrote really nice stuff. We're happy to release the grand opening, but we're going to need a lot of help building and raising another $20,000. Me and the whole PATMOS team are committed to getting this done for you.
Design Update:
We're going up to Brooklyn tomorrow to look at a park that'll help enhance ours. Keep looking on the "PARK PLANS" for the new clay model that'll be posted soon.
P.S. We're going to have a concert on March 31st to raise money for the park. Keep coming back for updates and ticket sales.
P.P.S. Ricci's shed is gettin stocked! We've been getting tons of support.
P.P.P.S. We're coming out with a whole new PATMOS clothing line (including ladies) to raise more money for the park. So check back soon for our on-line store.

PATMOS Park needs your help! posted 1-30
We still need about $25,000 to complete the building of the park. Please go to www.myhometownhelper.com and search "PATMOS Park" and write why you think our community needs this ministry. The more comments we get, the better the chance of the park being awarded up to $15,000 from Hamburger Helper.
Thanks,
Jackie
